At Batchworth Park Golf Club, we love inspiring juniors to get on the course, and our Junior Academy is set up to do so in a great way with our Golf Development Professionals. Get your young golfers playing confidently with games and activities to hone their skills in a monitored environment. We also teach the values of the game as part of our Golf Foundation involvement.
Running in school term time, our after school and weekend sessions for 4-15 year olds of all abilities are set up so progress is monitored through coloured levels, with the aim of getting out on the course.
Birdie and Eagle Camps run during the holidays, and provide a great opportunity for juniors to put their learned skills into practice. Birdie Camp is a half day, running from 9am to 12pm, for less experienced players who need to work on all areas of their game before moving up to Eagle Camp.
This camp is for young golfers who aren’t very experienced, to help them pick up and develop their foundational skills before they move up to Eagle camp. Half-day, 9am to 12pm
This runs from 9am to 4pm, and is perfect for more experienced juniors who are getting ready to move onto playing on the course. The morning is dedicated to playing games to introduce and hone skills, before playing on the course in the afternoons. With more time to play in the camps than at after school or weekend sessions, your young golfers get an idea of what it is really like to play golf in a professional capacity.
